Who owns the Internet ? what is the INTERNET ?

Internet ?
Do you know it ? Yes of course, because you are already using it !
What is it then ?
Who own the Internet ?  Who is in  charge of the Internet ?
What does wWw means ?
Oh ! May be you don't know.  So you and I, we are going to discover what internet is and how does it work.

We all know that an Internet user has access to a wide variety of services: electronic mails, file transfers, private and public businesses, vast information resources , interest group memberships, www.fb.com, Banks, online games,  interactive collaborations, multimedia displays, real-time broadcasting, shopping opportunities, breaking news, accessing to www.lifetech123.blogspot.com, reading computer tips, discovering secret news, having mobile secret codes or animations, and much more things you might know more than me.
Talking about internet we will target Networks. What network is ?
-Network : is a collection of computers connected together  by a mean of : Cables ; wireless which exchange or share data.
-Internet : is a collection of Networks or a computer network made up of thousands of networks through world wide.
How ever when it comes to say how many computers are currently connected we will talk about
Billions or millions.
All computers on the Internet are communicating with one another by using the TCP/IP.
-TCP/IP : Transmission Control Protocol Address / Internet Protocol Address.
All computers on the internet included yours of course use a "Client" and "Server" architecture.
The remote machine which is the server provides files and services ( informations; data; documents; software;…) to the user's local, the client machine (YOU!). Cookies or software can be fairly installed to  your machine to take advantage to the latest access technology.
The Internet consists primarily of a variety of access protocols. Many of these protocols feature programs and accessibilities that allow users to search for and retrieve material made available by the protocol.

The WWW ?
The world wide web.

Sir TIM BERNERS-LEE  ("TimBL")

also known as "TimBL", is a British computer scientist, best known as the inventor of the World Wide Web. He made a proposal for an information management system in March 1989, and he implemented the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the Internet

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), led by Web founder Tim Berners-Lee, coordinates the efforts of standardizing HTML (HyperText Markup Language).
Does TimBL own the Internet then ?
No ONE is in charge of the Internet because there some organizations which developed and are still developing technical aspects of this network. They are involved in developing  web-based internet applications, social network services, and electronic businesses.
No governing body is in control. The internet traffic flows throughout its backbone which is owned by private companies.  The Web is also therefore not a fixed entity, but one that is in a constant state of development and flux.

The WWW provides a single friendly interface for accessing all of these protocols. It is no longer a compulsory to be conversant  in the internet protocols ( FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, …) within separate, command line environments because the WEB rangers are together into a single system.
From now the web is ability to work with advanced programming languages thus the Multimedia and high level security.
The Web is the fastest growing component of the internet.
The WWW (world wide web) is a system of internet servers that support hypertext to access almost all internet protocols  onto a single designed interface. And almost every protocol type available on the internet is accessible on the web ( Electronic-Mails, File-Transfer-Protocols, Telnet, and so on … ).
The operation of the Web relies primarily to the hypertext. The text displayed on a computer screen which has references to his backbone called hyperlinks to other text(document, file) for an immediate access as its means of information retrieval. HyperText is just a document containing words that connect to other documents. These words are called links (URL: universal resources link). A single hypertext document can contain links to many documents. In the context of the Web, words or graphics may serve as links to other documents, images, video, and sound. Links may or may not follow a logical path, as each connection is programmed by the creator of the source document. Overall, the Web contains a complex virtual web of connections among a vast number of documents, graphics, videos, and sounds.

Producing hypertext for the Web is accomplished by creating documents with the language called HyperText Markup Language(HTML).
(As you can see in the picture below, it is consisted of tags eclosed in angle brackets).

With HTML, tags are placed within the text to accomplish document formatting, visual features such as font size, italics and bold, and the creation of hypertext links. Graphics and multimedia may also be incorporated into an HTML document. HTML is an evolving language, with new tags being added as each upgrade of the language is developed and released. The Web provides a vast array of experiences including multimedia presentations, real-time collaboration, interactive pages, radio and television broadcasts, and the automatic "push" of information to a client computer. Programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Cold Fusion and XML are extending the capabilities of the Web. A growing amount of information on the Web is served dynamically from content stored in databases.
